Thirty years ago, my parents left their beloved hometown of Măneuți, in the historical Bucovina Region, seeking new opportunities abroad.
With courage and determination, they built a life overseas, carrying with them the traditions and flavors of Romania—memories of golden sunflower fields, hearty walnut harvests, and the pure, wholesome foods of their childhood.
After three decades of hard work and cultural immersion, they felt a deep calling to return to their roots in Bucovina, a region renowned for its pristine landscapes and rich agricultural heritage.
Inspired by their journey and a desire to share Romania’s natural bounty, they returned after 25 years to Măneuți to reconnect with the land and community they never forgot. This homecoming sparked the creation of Liquid Gold, a family-owned business dedicated to crafting premium cold-pressed oils.
